Terms of service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms apply when you use SEOgenz (“SEOgenz”, “we”, “us”) at seogenz.com. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use SEOgenz.
1. What SEOgenz is
SEOgenz is a professional network for the SEO industry. Members can publish a profile, list a business, write articles, take part in communities, list SEO tools and post jobs. SEOgenz is not a marketplace for buying or selling links, and it must not be used as one.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information when you register.
- One person, one account. Business listings are managed from personal accounts; you may invite team members to help.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can deactivate or delete your account at any time from your account settings.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post: profiles, listings, articles, discussions, comments and images. By posting it you give SEOgenz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, format and distribute it on SEOgenz and in feeds, sitemaps and previews that point back to it, for as long as it is on the site.
You confirm that you have the right to post it, and that it follows our content guidelines.
4. Moderation
Business listings, articles, tools and job postings are reviewed before they are published. We may approve, reject, ask for changes, hide or remove content, and suspend accounts that break these terms or the content guidelines. We keep a record of moderation decisions. If you think we got something wrong, reply to the moderation notice or contact us.
5. Links
Links posted by members are marked rel="ugc nofollow". Our editors may remove that marking from an article's links after checking them; this is their decision and cannot be requested or bought. Paid placements and sponsored content are labelled and their links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow". We may unlink or block domains that are spammy, harmful or misleading. Buying a placement never buys a followed link.
6. Paid placements
SEOgenz sells optional placements: featured business listings, featured tools, job promotions and sponsored articles.
- Paid content goes through the same moderation as free content. Payment does not guarantee approval, and approval does not depend on payment.
- A placement runs for the period shown when you buy it, starting once the content is approved and live.
- Payments are handled by our payment partner, who acts as the merchant of record and is named at checkout. Their terms also apply to the purchase, and they issue your receipt or invoice.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
7. Things you must not do
- Buy, sell or trade links, guest posts or reviews through SEOgenz.
- Post spam, keyword-stuffed or automatically generated content, or content copied from others.
- Impersonate a person or business, or list a business you are not authorised to represent.
- Harass other members, or post illegal, hateful or sexually explicit content.
- Scrape the site at a rate that affects other users, try to break its security, or get around a suspension.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep SEOgenz running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or discontinue features. When we change these terms in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in members.
9. Liability
SEOgenz is provided “as is”. Content on SEOgenz is written by its members and is not advice from us; check it before relying on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using SEOgenz at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 3 (licence for content still on the site), 9 and this section continue to apply afterwards.
