Thin pages are not only short pages.

A long page that repeats what a hundred other pages already say can be thinner than a short page with information nobody else has. Word count is a symptom people measure because it is easy, not the thing that matters.

How do you explain this to clients who ask for "2,000-word articles"?

Unpopular opinion: most "SEO strategy" documents are content calendars with extra pages.

A strategy should say what you will *not* do. Which pages you'll remove. Which keywords you'll ignore because you can't win them this year. Which product lines don't deserve a blog.

If a document has no deletions in it, it's a wish list.

What's something you decided not to chase this year?
